We’d like to take a moment to share our house rules with you, which are designed to ensure that all guests have a pleasant stay while also respecting our neighbors and taking care of our home. These are common practices that help us provide a welcoming and safe environment for everyone.
– No shoes in the home. Please leave them by the door.
– We kindly request that you help us maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all our guests by avoiding excessive sand inside the house. As we are located near the beach, sand can easily find its way indoors, and while we understand it’s unavoidable to some extent, we would greatly appreciate your cooperation in minimizing it as much as possible. While we hate to charge our guests, if our cleaning team charges us an additional fee due to excessive sand that requires extra time and effort to clean, we may need to pass on this cost to you. We recommend shaking off any excess sand before entering the premises and using the outdoor showers to rinse off before coming inside. We also leave brooms and dustpan which you can use. By doing so, you’ll help us keep the space clean and enjoyable for everyone.
– No parties and illegal substance.
– No unauthorized guests. Unauthorized guests will be charged $50 per guest.
– Please observe quiet hours – 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
– We pay our cleaners fairly and they have a big job to turnover the unit and sanitize. Your appreciation for their hard work can be shown by not leaving excessive mess behind.
– Please check out by 10 AM. Late check out may result to $50 per 30 minutes to compensate our cleaners’ time.
– Guests will be charged an additional $250 for any smoking incidents detected plus any additional costs resulting to this violation. The home air quality is remotely monitored.
– It is important to reveal the number of guests during the booking process. If there are more than the amount of guests or any gatherings are held, as well as violation of our house rules, we reserve the right to terminate your stay without refund under lack of adherence to house rules.
• Dog Policy: Message us prior to your stay if you’re bringing a dog, as we’ll need a bit more information. As fellow pet lovers, we ask:
– Keep pets off furniture and bedding.
– Pets must be house-trained.
– Please pick up and dispose of all waste.
We welcome dogs at the house with a $150 pet fee per dog. Please note that Airbnb’s system only allows us to collect for one dog at the time of booking. If you plan to bring more than one, an additional $100 per dog will be requested after your reservation is confirmed.
Use of hot tub is at your own risk. No lifeguard is on duty. Children must be supervised at all times. No diving, running, or rough play. Please, no glass in the hot tub area. Shower before entering, and replace covers when not in use. Guests assume all responsibility for safe use of these amenities.
Checkout: Please secure all trash in bags and place them in the outdoor bins. Wash any used dishes or load them into the dishwasher and start the cycle. Be sure to clear out any food from the fridge and freezer. We also ask that you place used towels in the washing machine and start a load before you go.
Please know that any confirmed violations of these rules may lead to reservation cancellation without a refund, along with fines for additional guests, community rule breaches, extra cleaning, and property damage. Sunny Daze is one side of an oceanfront duplex with its own private entrance and dedicated outdoor spaces, giving you the perfect mix of privacy and prime beachfront access.
Guests have full access to the entire home, including all 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, the fully equipped kitchen, living and dining areas, and private decks. You’ll also enjoy exclusive use of the hot tub, and on-site parking for up to 6 vehicles. Featuring a beachfront location, an ocean view, and beach chairs, this vacation home is a great spot to soak up some sun. Enjoy some of the nearby water activities including sailing, boating, surfing, and scuba diving.
Located in a peaceful beachfront neighborhood along Island Drive, this home offers the perfect blend of quiet coastal living and easy access to local favorites. Just steps from the sand, you’re also a short drive away from beloved spots like Splash by the Sea, Seaview Pier Restaurant, and Shaka Taco. Explore the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue Center, take in the views at Surf City Ocean Pier, or spend the day kayaking and paddleboarding in the nearby sound. Whether you’re craving fresh seafood, planning a family adventure, or simply enjoying a laid-back beach day, everything you need is close by.
You’ll have the entire unit by yourselves! There will be no interaction with guests unless a request is made for additional services. But, we are always available via messages & phone.
The easiest way to get around is by car. Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft may be available, but can be limited, especially during peak times—so having a vehicle is recommended for convenience. Free parking is provided on-site. The beach is just a few steps away.

**ESSENTIALS**
• Fresh bath towels and linens are provided for your convenience. However, please bring your own beach towels.
• To help you get off to a comfortable start, we’re happy to provide starter kits that include essential items like toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, and soap. These kits are intended for the first part of your visit. If you run out during your stay, we kindly recommend purchasing your preferred supplies at your convenience.
• There is a washer & dryer available in the unit for your use. Detergent and dryer sheets are not provided.
• For non-Airbnb reservations only, any applicable refunds — regardless of the cancellation policy — will incur a 6% processing fee.
Starting November 1, all guests with confirmed bookings will be required to submit a valid ID and sign the Rental Agreement. We use secure property management software to collect this information, and it is used strictly to verify your booking.
