Guests will have full private access to the entire cabin during their stay, including all living spaces, bedrooms, decks, hot tub, game room, and driveway parking.
You’ll also have access to the seasonal amenities in Chalet Village, which may include outdoor pools, clubhouses, and select recreational areas depending on availability and time of year. Please note that access and operating hours are managed by the community and can vary seasonally.

You’ll have the entire cabin by yourselves! There will be no interaction with guests unless a request is made for additional services. But, we are always available via messages & phone.
Little Cub Retreat is located in Chalet Village near Gatlinburg, where having a car is highly recommended. The cabin sits in a mountain setting with winding roads and some steep areas, but the drive is well worth it for the views and privacy.
You’re just a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg, where parking is available at public garages and lots. From there, you can explore shops, restaurants, and attractions or hop on the local trolley system for easy access around town.

Ober Mountain: ~5–10 minutes
Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance: ~15 minutes
In winter months or during inclement weather, a vehicle with 4WD or AWD is recommended for added safety on mountain roads.

– To ensure you have a comfortable start to your stay, we are happy to provide you with starter kits that include essential items like toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, and soap. These starter kits are designed for the initial part of your visit. In the unlikely event that any of these items run out during your stay, we kindly recommend purchasing your preferred supplies at your convenience.
– There is a washer & dryer available in the unit to use if needed. Detergent & dryer sheets are not provided.
✹ Access is easy-breezy. Self-check-in is available via the keypad on the front door – you will have your own unique access code, good for the duration of your stay.
