This is the season the porch earns its keep. The ridgeline you watch from the covered swing turns gold and rust, mornings go crisp enough that the hot tub stops being a nice extra, and the stone fireplace gets lit before anyone has to suggest it. THE LAYOUT
Main level: the king suite with its own TV, a heart-shaped jetted tub and direct access to the full bathroom. The living room opens up with vaulted ceilings, warm wood and the stone fireplace, and the kitchen and dining area sit right off it so nobody cooks alone.
Lower level: the game room, which is genuinely a room and not a corner. Pool table, arcade game, TV, lounge seating, both bunk sets and the second full bathroom.
