Guests have full access to the entire cabin and all of its amenities during their stay. This includes all indoor and outdoor spaces such as the kitchen, living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry area, game loft with pool table, decks with hot tub, and everything provided for a comfortable and relaxing visit.
Sunlit Elephant is located in the scenic Smoky Mountain area of Sevierville, just minutes from Dollywood and the Pigeon Forge Parkway. While there are neighboring cabins nearby, the elevated setting and surrounding nature provide a peaceful sense of privacy. You’ll feel tucked away in the mountains while still being close to top attractions, dining, and entertainment.
You’ll have the entire cabin by yourselves! There will be no interaction with guests unless a request is made for additional services. But, we are always available via messages & phone.
Sunlit Elephant is located in the scenic Smoky Mountain area of Sevierville, just minutes from Dollywood and the Pigeon Forge Parkway. From Interstate 40, take Exit 407 toward Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg, then follow the Parkway (US-441) through Sevierville toward Pigeon Forge. From there, local roads will guide you up to the cabin.
All roads leading to the cabin are paved and well maintained. As with most mountain properties, the final stretch includes some curves and a moderately steep drive, but no 4WD is needed under normal conditions. A car is recommended for easy access, and guests are encouraged to drive cautiously, especially at night or during winter weather.

These starter kits are designed for the initial part of your visit. In the unlikely event that any of these items run out during your stay, we kindly recommend purchasing your preferred supplies at your convenience.
– There is a washer & dryer available in the unit to use if needed. Detergent & dryer sheets are not provided.

Welcome to our home! We’d like to take a moment to share our House Guidelines which are designed to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort for all our guests! These are common practices that help us provide a welcoming space for everyone.
• Minimum age requirement for booking is 21 years old.
• No unauthorized guests or parties allowed.
• No smoking, illegal substances, or vaping inside the unit. Smoking incidents will result in a $250 charge plus additional cleaning fees. The air quality is remotely monitored.
• Please be respectful of our neighbors. No excessive noise from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Dog Policy: We charge $150 pet. Message us prior to your stay if you’re bringing a dog, as we’ll need a bit more information. As fellow pet lovers, we ask:
– Keep pets off furniture and bedding.
– Pets must be house-trained.
– Please pick up and dispose of all waste.
• Follow hot tub safety guidelines. We are not responsible for accidents due to improper use.
• Kindly place trash in the bear-proof cage outside and ensure it’s locked to prevent wildlife from accessing it. Do not leave bags of food or trash outside.
• We pay our cleaners fairly and they have a big job to turnover the unit and sanitize. Your appreciation for their hard work can be shown by not leaving excessive mess behind.
• Unauthorized late check-outs will incur a fee of $50 per half-hour after 10 AM to compensate for our cleaner’s time.
• At check-out, we kindly ask for your cooperation: secure your trash, wash or load dishes into the dishwasher, and clear food from the fridge. We’ll take care of the rest.
Please know that any confirmed violations of these rules may lead to reservation cancellation without a refund, along with fines for additional guests, community rule breaches, extra cleaning, and property damage. We are always available to answer any questions you may have about our house rules as we want to make sure that you feel informed and have a wonderful stay with us!
